We are an independent nonprofit and educational organization. We plan to raise funds and accept donations for future projects. Key projects include building a monument and welcome center on Pazhwak's graveside, holding poetry and book launching events and continuing publication of all his works to promote learning and education. The foundation is exempted from federal income tax under IRC Section 501 (c)(3) as of January 2021. Donors can deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170.
Pazhwak's poems and thoughts echo across Afghan truths, tragedies and aspirations of his lifetime. His poetry, books and articles also offer a window into Afghanistan's culture, literature and recent history. He shows unflinching courage and passion in pursuit of truth. He brings bold thinking and harnesses the power of his pen to defend knowledge, freedom, justice and the right of self-determination for all peoples and nations.
See a list of Pazhwak's published works. You may download ebooks and orginial works for academic purposes and reading pleasure. You have the option to donate towards future publications and promotion of Pazhwak Foundation. Many thanks, if you do. Besides, all his writings should be made availble in both Pashto and Dari. We plan to translate published works into other languages, particularly English.
Our goals is to make Pazhwak's unpublished works accessible to graduate students, universities, centers and scholars for further research, analysis and publication. Pazhwkak Foundation reserves the copy right to all of his major works. Ultimately, Pazhwak life and legacy belong to the Afghan people and the universal ideals of faith, knowledge, liberty and humanity.
